Sinkholes raise serious questions
It was a sight no one has ever recalled seeing in Georgetown in at least six decades. The earth opened up and swallowed part of a building near the city’s Historic District late Thursday night. Other buildings also received some damage as a result of sink holes that have been forming since late October. Thursday night, Parrish Place — which houses the UPS Store and other businesses on Highway 17 — collapsed. There had been a rather large sinkhole
